Why Creative Photography?

My name is Tehmur Sethi, and I'm a London-based photographer with a passion for storytelling through imagery. Inspired by my love for cinema, I approach each shoot like a scene from a film—carefully crafting mood, emotion, and atmosphere. My work focuses on creative portraits that feel like movie stills, each one designed to evoke a deeper narrative and bring cinematic concepts to life. 

With a deep understanding of camera techniques, including the use of various lenses and equipment, I carefully select the right tools to capture every moment with precision. I shoot with the Sony A7 IV, paired with the Tamron 28mm-75mm lens, allowing me to adapt to any scene—from wide-angle shots to detailed portraits, with exceptional clarity and depth.

Once I’ve captured the perfect shot, I bring each image to life through editing and cinematic colour grading in Lightroom. Driven by my love for movies, I treat every photo like a film still—carefully enhancing mood, tone, and atmosphere to match the story I want to tell. Whether it’s dramatic lighting, rich contrast, or subtle hues, my goal is to evoke the same emotional depth you’d find in a great scene from a film.
